A Weekend In Wellington

New Zealand's capital is home to some great award winning restaurants. We've put together some suggested places to wine and dine when you next spend a weekend in Wellington….

Finc (Food Incorporated) is located in a beautiful Te Aro building circa 1943. It's a cosy, comfortable, kid friendly setting with a quirky 'lucky dip' if you choose a bottle of wine. It's presented to you as a mystery in a brown paper bag, which adds to the charm of Finc.

Logan Brown Restaurant

Logan Brown owners Steve Logan and Alister Brown have created a special ambience for any dining occasion. The food as expected, is full flavoured, generous and divine.

Floriditas Restaurant

For a dose of class dine at the very stylish Floriditas. Situated on Cuba Street, Floriditas has a delicious menu with its food sourced from the finest suppliers both local & around NZ. The Parisian feel makes a perfect setting for all day dining heading into the evening.

St Johns Heineken Restaurant & Bar

Set up in the old 1920’s ambulance building, the very stylish St Johns Heineken Restaurant & Bar is a must to visit while in town.

Nikau Gallery Cafe

Situated at the Wellington City Art Gallery, Nikau comes recommended by Cuisine Magazine as one of the best cafe's in 2008. Much more than just a coffee shop.

Located on the glamourous Customhouse Quay, Pravda provides elegant dining with classic european dishes. The wine list is also very impressive.
A must.
