Joy Bong Thai Restaurant & Bar specialises in Royal Thai as well as Isaan Thai cuisine, from the Isaan region in North Eastern Thailand.

The food is typically delicate and spicy, with every ingredient given room and a subtle hand applied at all stages. The food is always daily fresh, a little chilli hot and unlike Bangkok and the South, khao niaw, or "sticky rice" - a glutinous variant served in small woven bamboo baskets and eaten with the hand - is the main accompaniment to every meal.

Joy Bong Thai Restaurant can cater for all functions - from small cocktail parties requiring light finger foods to full seated Thai banquets for up to 100 people.

The Joy Bong Lounge Bar is an oft-hidden treat at the rear, and also has a separate entrance on Hereford Street. With a blazing fireplace, large leather couches and copper finishings, this is a perfect place to relax after work or enjoy a drink with friends. The bar is available for functions, catering up to 50 people. Large platters and light finger food menus can be tailored to your requirements.

The Joy Bong Thai Restaurant can seat up to 80 people. Our largest tables seat 25 people, we also have 4 large circular booths which seat 6 people each. For large parties we recommend our Thai Banquets.

Joy Bong is open for lunches during the week. The Thai restaurant and bar areas are superb for functions and the staff are happy to cater for different groups and requirements.
