    Easily the best laid out bar of its type I've visited. With a formal dining area, a sports bar with booths and lean-ons and an outdoor beer garden, this place is authentic Hawke's Bay with its woolshed theme. The food is genuine farm tucker and portions are generous and well priced. The beer and wine range is average but it is the bar food that stands out. A visit is not complete without trying their green-lipped mussels.
