Friendly staff, and excellent food. A wide variety of choice on the menu and good selection - there is sure to be something to suit everyone. Quite a small place and got packed towards the end of our stay, so it would pay to book

Great place! This was my first sit-down Japanese experience in Welly and it delivered well. As others have said, it felt more authentic for someone who has actually been to Japan. The sushi was good with enough stuff that's more traditional and less westernized fare. I really enjoyed the beef teriyaki set, and the green tea ice cream with tempura banana was amazing! I'm very happy with it.

Miyabi would have to be the best of the cheap Japanese restaurants in Wellington. The food seems to be more in line with what I had in Japan, than some of the Westernised versions you get in other restaurants. Great value for money. The man who runs the place is lovely and always says hello.
