    I've been to the Salutation Hotel on several occasions and had to return with friends and family due to the wonderful atmosphere and great food. I've always found the staff to be helpful and nothing has ever been too much trouble. The food is consistently good, fantastic portion sizes and great value. The place is always clean and tidy. There's affordable, clean accomodation upstairs which has been a blessing when we've had extra people come to stay. We would recommend the Salutation Hotel as a great place to meet friends, a fantastic place for a meal and they're very welcoming of children and families. Thank you. Sarah Wallis

    The staff at the salutation hotel were all very unapproachable and quite rude. After politely asking for help I was turned away twice and accused of being "drunk" when I was the sober driver for the night. I will not be returning to this hotel and do not recommend it as I feel polite and friendly mannerisms would not go astray.
