Welcome to Normanby Hotel. Check out our Restaurant which serves meals every night or meet friends for a drink in the bar. We have the main bar area, the restaurant and a lovely sunny outdoor area - great for lunches and dinner or just meeting friends after work. Normanby Hotel is centrally located in Auckland with plenty of parking and only a short distance from the Mt Eden train station. Come in and visit us or make a restaurant booking in advance.
Southern Style Restaurant
Our restaurant serves meals 7 days a week and children are welcome. All our meals are designed and aimed at the Southerner in all of us! We have substantial portions at a very reasonable price. We are also a member of the Restaurant Association.
Normanby Hotel
We have 2 large screen TV’s if you fancy watching the big game with friends or you can sit outside in the sun on the deck and move inside and sit by the inviting fire in the evening.
Private Functions and Meetings
Our restaurant is available for private functions and can comfortably hold up to 200 people which has an indoor and outdoor deck and covered area. The main room also has its own private bar and projector screen –great for a business presentation or embarrassing a loved one their 21st birthday!

Great relaxed atmosphere - good pub food (probably a bit higher quality than that to be fair). It's a great spot for a drink and a bit in the sun on a Sunday afternoon as well. Can be a bit quiet at times, a feeling which can be exaggerated by the large space inside. But overall it's enjoyable - an I highly recommend the Speight's Pilsner. Only place I know you can get it!
