Welcome to The Village Inn Restaurant & Bar at Kapiti's Raumati Beach , which is the central hub of Raumati village and your place to meet. We are a family friendly and affordable community venue.
Our bar, gastro pub, sports bar, and garden bar, are great places for you to truly relax. We also serve weekend brunch, have a pokies room and TAB and are a superb wedding and function venue. But mostly, we are a place where you can connect with your local community.
We have nooks to find a quiet space as well as open spaces (inside and an outside undercover garden bar area). Your kids are free to race around and have fun as you relax.
The food is some of the best pub food around. You'll be lucky if you make it to dessert - our servings are plentiful! Think of the best meal your Mum ever made you - that's what we aspire to serve. Kids meals start at $6, lunches are $10, main meals start at $15, plus try our bar menu and great choice of pizzas.
We work with local businesses and buy local produce where we can. And if you've got a killer jam or an abundance of lemons, pop down and we'll chat.
It's been a long time coming - a return to the original name and original values of a local pub; friendly, affordable, lively. The new interior is modern yet comfy, and no matter who you are or where you come from, there's a place for you here.
Life is changing; people everywhere are rediscovering the warmth and supportive feel of really knowing their local community.

love this local pub went there recently as there has been new owners from christmas and the place has totally changed so decided to check it out all the staff that served me were lovely and the food was amazing (i had the fish with side of salad) highly recommend

Terrible service and it took 40 mins to get our food when there was only four of us in the restaurant. It was overpriced for the food and the food was terrible will not being going back again. New Owners were not friendly or helpful same as there staff.

Always friendly, full of conviviality and smiles all round. The food is well-proportioned and cooked, fresh and tasty and there's more than just chicken nuggets for children. I like it and consider myself most fortunate to live closeby.
