Salt on the Pier Cafe is open from 8:30pm to 4:30pm, 7 days. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 4pm for dinner.

There is a real focus on seafood on the restuarant menu, with dishes including seafood chowder and Marlborough salmon.

    Lovely, relaxed, casual atmosphere. The staff are calm, attentive and friendly. Food and coffee are great. Nice kiddies area with couches, toys and magazines for parents. And a big plus is the superb view! Definitely one of our regular favourites.

    Its been a year since I last had a meal here and the food was delicious, service was great and once again you cant beat that view over the ocean. A great place, not cheap but I dont mind paying for quality, price for the two of us was just under $150 but that was Soup (beautiful chowder) Mains, desserts 2x coffees and 2x ginger beers. Highly recommended.*****
