We normally head down to Aroy Dee for lunch. 10$ for a decent meal in the heart of Takapuna is a great deal for lunch time. Highly recommended. Try Meal number 52 with Prawns.

This resturant has authentic thai food. Comfortable atmosphere and great service. If the kids are feeling a little bored they are treated with a natural water feature of fish. This is a great resturant.

We were enticed by the $10 lunch special. Huge selection of mains for that price (including an extensive vegetarian selection). Seafood dishes were an additional $3. We've been 3 times and each time the food has been superb with generous portions and delivered quickly with good, friendly service. The restaurant itself is very clean, warm, pleasant enough though a bit dated. This is a fantastic option for a quality lunch at a bargain price!
