Location and opening times:
We're open from 11:30am every day until late and specialise in hosting fabulous functions in our cosy upstairs bar and balcony overlooking Lake Wakatipu.
Kiwi Icon:
Pogs opened in its lakefront location in the heart of Queenstown in 1998 and quickly became a Queenstown icon.
The Kiwi & Irish owners had the pub designed and built in Ireland itself, then shipped, lock, stock & barrel, to NZ.
Great music, great food, great views:
At Pogs you can enjoy a mix of modern & Celtic music (including regular trad sessions), friendly service, & open fires in both bars, not to forget the sunny beer garden & balcony from which you can soak up some of NZ's most stunning alpine scenery!
We proudly serve a full range of fine Irish & NZ beers & some of the best wines from NZ & abroad. Our menu offers authentic Irish cuisine complimented by contemporary NZ dishes & the world famous Stonegrill dining experience. I was actually a Facebook competition winner for Pogs from last year and they were soooo lovely when we arrived to use the voucher. We had our small son with us which was no problem - the food arrived very quickly, was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. Love this place!

Warm and cozy atmosphere that is unsurpassed. Strongly recommend menu is Curry. Their Currys have excelent taste aroma and cooked carefully all of quality ingredients.
