Grand Central, Grey Lynn Bars, Brasseries & Bistros

Grand Central is Ponsonby Road's longest serving bar.

Inspired by New York's great jazz, blues and rock venues, we are passionate about live music. We have regular open mic nights and you can catch established and up-and-coming acts here every night, except for Sunday when we are closed.

Grand Central carries a range of premium wine, beers and spirits and we have regular drink specials, including 2 for 1 drinks for performers on our open mic nights.

We are open until 3am and we run a daily happy hour from 4pm to 7pm.

There is also an upstairs room available for parties and private functions, free of charge. Simply contact the bar manager on (09) 360 1260 to make a booking.
