Long Bay Restaurant, or LBR, is one of Auckland's only beachside dining experiences. Set in the beautiful Long Bay Regional Reserve, just a few feet from the sand and crashing waves, LBR is an incredible place to enjoy a casual oceanside lunch with a glass of wine or spend the evening relaxing in our dining room or on our sprawling deck soaking in the views. Absolutely stunning food complimented by the stunning views be it a fine day or wet day. The staff are all friendly and efficient. The food is devine. A good of friends have been meeting monthly since May and we have no desire to go anywhere else at this time. Added to which my sons wedding was here in August - the staff where exceptional.

An absolutely faultless dining experience. One of the very best seafood chowders we've tasted and melt in the mouth eye fillet. And the desserts are so good too...The Chef really know what he's doing here as do the wait staff. Thanks for a most memorable evening.

A wonderful location overlooking Long Bay beach. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff helpful and friendly, although we found the service slow and our side dish never arrived. The menu is extensive and the food beautifully presented. The portions are small for the price. A great restaurant for functions!
