    Stayed there a while back Nov. 2006 and was knocked out by food quality and the hospitality plus the overall value. I got a single en-suite, dinner, breakfast and nice staff for what I consider a bargain price and would not hesitate to recommend 'The Lion' to anyone. Not 'posh', not that modern but quite excellent overall.

    Absolutely fabulous "small_town" Public House. The "Friendly" Staff, Management & as well as the general atmosphere ... Provide one - with all the comforts of "home". They even have a "pretty awesome" 7.1x Channel Surround_Sound_System ... Installed (some years ago) in the Take-away/ (Licensed) Dining-room areas... (if I'm allowed to mention - the one I installed)
