Nestled in Mairangi Bay on the east coast of the North Shore. Fayre and Firkin, old English style cuisine, with excellent service and food, great place to have a romantic dinner, a family outing with children and a great place celebrate in style for any occasion.
Soft music playing in the back ground, with a beautiful old English theme, of old wood and natural colours, you would think you are back in an old pub in some land far far away.
Summer dine outside, soak up the sun and enjoy a beverage with an excellent array of food. Shake off those winter chills and enjoy mulled wine by our open fire, just great when windy and wet outside, almost makes you want to stay the whole night.

This is the only restaurant that my daughter can come away from without having a gluten reaction which in her case is very severe. After having an in depth conversation with the owner about my daughter's high sensitivity to gluten & the issues we have with cross contamination when eating out, I decided to give his restaurant a try. We have visited on several occasions now and every time the staff have been attentive and catered to her dietary requirements. Well done, it is a shame that many other restaurants don't take the same level of care in ensuring there is no cross contamination of products when either storing, preparing or cooking gluten free foods. The most minute amount of gluten can make some of us so ill.

This little gem impresses as being warm and inviting with friendly staff. Food was of a very high standard and my duck was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend for a casual night out with good quality food.

i give this resteraunt a 5 star review!!!!we had an amazing meal, it was for our 2 year anniversery and we loved every bit, my partner had the scotch fillet with reduced balsamic sauce instead of mushroom and they were so accomadating,i had a delisicious fettachine which they asked when i was full if id like to take it home.we had a fab desert of orange and cardamin brulee and my partner devoured the brownie and our 8month old gobbled down the ice cream they gave him.live music was great set a nice atmosphere it wasnt like a bar it was like music that set the mood of him bein there but not bein theere.the musician was so friendly and so was the whole wait staff.highly reccomended
