SErvice is great even tho sometimes they do not understand you but always efficient when they serve thier meals. the only down thing to this takeaways is its to small specially when it is jam packed with customers who just love the takeaways and even more the chinesse food. great takeaways fast meals always hot hot and always has customers never a dull day.

We have used this takeaway shop for nearly 20 years. They are usually prompt with putting the order thru and have a self serve if you are in a hurry. At times the have had staff on with poor english but they are a friendly bunch. The fish and chips are what you would expect and the burgers are great. The Chinese food is lovely, but at times there sweet and sour is like chewing on old boots.

Onerahi Fish Shop Chinese Food & Take-A-Ways... we tried this place after reading ironchef's review. The place is spotless clean and tidy (glass table tops for those eating in), and the food is obviously prepared with care, "way above average". We got the $15 special pack including 4 fish, 2 burgers, and $2 chips, we asked for kumara chips instead of potato and were only asked to pay $1 extra. The fish were good size fresh fillets in thin crispy batter, the burgers were tasty and fresh, the chips were great too. Not sloppy and rancid like many takeaways, what a nice surprise!
