Great ambiance, food delicious and service great. Only issue is noise levels during dinner, not conducive to easy conversation.

My second visit to Vivace was just as good as my first! I love the tapas selections - great varieties and portions. The drinks menu is also a win. I look forward to coming back to continue trying all the choices! And the bar area is great - love sitting there with friends to enjoy the food!

Food was great, but steak was not cooked to the medium rare to rare specification and was rather medium to well done. Don't think food was hot enough on arrival- maybe the plate wasnt warmed properly. However dish was tasty still and seasoned well. Service was friendly, but waited a very long time for dessert order to be taken. Overall a good experience.

I love this place, the atmosphere, the lighting, the food, absolutely exquisite. Its very dimly lit, which in the beginning I found annoying but as the evening wore on I found very relaxing and ambient. In saying that its very popular so has a hum of laughter, talking and general enjoyment by the diners and people at the bar. The food was devine, I tried some of my friends food too, all were delicious. I will continue to enjoy Vivace, great central location if you are going somewhere in town and want to grab a great meal.

Vivace has fabulous Tapa's definitely the place to go with a group of people to enjoy a table full of "little bites" and fabulours wine. The pork belly is devine, lovely crackle and soft succulent meat. Their desserts are ordered in but they are wonderful and well worth keeping some space in your stomach to enjoy them!! The atmosphere is great, low lighting, candles, wood floors and a roaring fire. Service is extremely good, friendly, very attentive but unobtrusive. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.

You cannot go wrong with this place. I have been to Vivace many times and loved every visit. Perfect for after work drinks or a nice dinner out. The fire place in the bar area adds a lot of character. My favourite meal...the mushroom risotto. Amazing! Worth a visit!

Superb. Had my brothers birthday here a couple of months ago. We had a private room with service to boot. Delicious tapas to start and a choice from 4 mains. Loved it - and will definitly be back!

I've been to Vivace time and time again and it never disappoints. The food is very reasonably priced and delicious! I recently went there for a celebration lunch. We started with melt in the mouth Gorgonzola, honey and fig and I chose my usual - The Kumara Gnocchi for my main. It's also great for groups, with rooms you can book. Superb!!!

A summer nights dinner on the balcony here is hard to top - the lamb shanks are just falling off the bone and the crowd is always social.

Great food, great wine & great atmosphere. We held birthday drinks there and the staff were very accommodating. Always a favourite for taking friends from out of town and would definitely recommend.

Yummy food, friendly service and (I know this sounds a bit cliched but!) a warm and intimate atmosphere =D Vivace is great for a romantic evening out (try and get a table on the balcony), dinner with a few friends or quick snack at the bar. They also have some very cool rooms off the side of the restaurant for group bookings. Vivace has been on my favourites list for many years.
