Top of the dome cafe is open 7am to 5pm every day with evening dinners on fridays and at other times for functions.

We are also licensed.

Fine locally roasted coffee and all home cooking.

Our cafe is alongside the start of the internationally acclaimed dome forest walkway which is part of the Te Arara track that runs the length of New Zealand.

    In May over 30 members of our car club dropped in for lunch. The staff coped surprisingly well with such an influx. The service was good, the food excellent (and reasonably priced!) and the venue cosy. We all loved it!

    The food is lovely with a delicious homemade feel to it. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. Overall great experience.

    Sadly I had a poor experience. The older male was arrogant and unfriendly, the coffee was like cold dishwater and the food was tasteless.
