Owners Muk and Savang Kumjumpol pride themselves on staying true to the enchanting flavours and secrets of Thai cuisine using the freshest natural herbs and produce New Zealand has to offer. Thai Village was the first Thai restaurant in Remuera and is one of only a few Thai restaurants in New Zealand to be awarded Thai Select.
We are open for lunch weekdays, and dinner 7 days a week. Our menu offers a large variety of delicious Thai food. From well known favourites Springs Rolls, Tom Yum soup and Red Curry to more exotic dishes such as Waterfall Beef, Pad Toor Dang, and Gai Ob (flaming chicken) there is a wide range of exquisite dishes to infuse every ones taste buds.
The restaurant is fully licensed, with BYO for wine only. We also have a fantastic beverage list, offering a variety of wines, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. We also have a take-away menu available if you simply feel like a night off cooking.

RAGGAZ
The team at Thai Village have never failed over the years we regularly go there to dish up for us consistently great Thai food. Thai Village is now the bench mark we judge Asian restaurants by and no Thai restaurant around the world has yet come up to their standard. The setting is comfortable, the food is excellent and the staff always make you feel at home. My favourite restaurant in Auckland for an any night meal.

I had dinner at this restaurant with my friends. We had 3 mixed appetisers and 4 mains, including Flaming Chicken, Herbal Fishes, and two curries. We really enjoyed the environment and the food. We will come back to this restaurant again. I would recommend 5 stars for this restaurant.

Sat off a small alley-way next to New World Remeura, is Thai Village Restaurant. This place is pretty popular - always packed with locals, which is always a good indication of what works. The bright, unflattering lighting leaves a little to be desired but expect incredibly fast service and good thai food. Very good food in fact, and large portions too.
