The restaurant has a relaxed bar for pre dinner drinks, exquisite dinning area, a well balance decor of traditional Thai carvings in a modern setting.
The upper room (25 sitting cap.) provides a private dining area for groups and private function.
Edward Viterbo is a very experienced restaurateur, he is also the owner of two other famous Thai restaurant in Auckland City, The Grasshopper restaurant and Mai Thai restaurant. He brings his years of experience to Golden Silk to make sure that he only offers the best.
Rachel Viterbo is the Maitre' d/Owner of the restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient. The waiting staffs have an excellent understanding of the menu, sourced fresh daily.
Sukanya Saripong is the Chef who has extensive experience in cooking Thai cuisine in restaurants and hotels in Thailand and New Zealand.

The food here is fantastic. Sometimes I am sceptical of places out in the wop-wops like this place is but it is really great, if you are ever in the area I would recommend you drop in. The staff is friendly and they also have a good selection of wines and softdrinks to suit everyone
