This is the case at Da Vinci's, who for over 30 years have been serving outstanding traditional Italian cuisine along with the freshest fish, clams, lobster and their salmon is flown in direct from the South Island. Let's not forget that irresistible Gelato ice cream that is made on the premises.

Da Vinci's is now also serving Mediterranean dishes alongside their Italian specialties, complimented by an excellent, user-friendly wine list, which boasts a selection of award-winning wines, both local and international.

Ideally located on the ground floor at No. 5 City Road, opposite the Langham Hotel, Da Vinci's offers superb indoor/outdoor dining at reasonable prices. Free car park is also available at night.

    Marvellous! The food was great, atmosphere good, and service outstanding - the chef made Canolli especially for me. The ONLY Italian restaurant I could find to do so.

    This place is really good value for money. The food was great and everything was well priced. They also have a surprisingly good drinks menu.
