I have been to Bian quite a few times, and my wife used to eat there religiously when she worked just down the road. We still pop in to grab a bite whenever we are in the area...it is one of the best sushi bars we have found Auckland-wide. You don't go there for the atmosphere or the service, but you definitely do go there for the sushi. If you love sushi, this is the place to go. Reasonably priced, although not the cheapest sushi in town. Always fresh and delicious though. Here's a tip...drop in there later in the afternoon on weekday and you can grab some of the left over sushi rolls at cut prices...

There is a lot of sushi in NZ all of a sudden, but Bian is still the best. Great ingredients, variety, with not much over-the-top 'Kiwi-ised' sushi flavours, and perfect rice - always a winner for good sushi. It's great lunchtime and take-away stuff, at a great price. But remember - at lunch time it's always packed...

This is addictive sushi! The tempura prawn rolls are to die for, the mayo makes you go back for more! They have some very nice vegetarian selections too (the pumpkin one is yummy!). If your a miso lover, then this place will be your heaven: possibly the best miso in the country. ADDICTIVE!
