Went for lunch yesterday. Had not made a booking. Even thought they were busy we got seated straight away. Drinks order taken not long after arriving. Ordered meals. Both drinks and meals were served promptly. We had the Mains of Fish & Chips and the Pork Loin. Both meals were enjoyable and exceeded our expectations especially after reading other people's reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful. Could not fault the service or the food. Would definitely be back there again soon!

Food is ok, nothing too flash. Quite a nice place for a pint with friends. The bar staff are always quite friendly and they have Hoegaarden on tap.

Food is always rather nice, but last time I was there we got no bread and butter plates with our garlic bread which was rather awkward to eat off a table.
