    This is such a great casual restaurant, fantastic place to enjoy great food and catch up with friends. The appetizers are great to share with a group too. Best to have a reservation, as not a lot of seating, but the staff are really friendly and helpful if you don't have one.

    Best value, best Japanese and best service in Auckland. I cannot give this restaurant enough praise. I love it. Must orders include: Melting Salmon, Yum Yum Prawns and the Mixed Tuna and Salmon Tataki. It pays to give them a call and book on the weekends as it's quite small and very popular!

    I vote this restaurant the best Japanese in Auckland! Try the Melting Salmon, the Yum Yum Prawns and the Mixed Tuna and Salmon Tataki (think that's how you spell it). The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and you can BYO. Not sure if the above description is entirely correct because children are definately allowed and Banzai is open for dinner! Such fantastic value, and mouth watering dishes - you definately won't leave this place disapointed. Here's their menu: http://banzai.digi2.jp/sub1.html
