Initially we wanted to go to Cafe Hanoi across the road (and run by the same owner) but they had an hour-long waiting list so went to Xuxu. Great cocktails with ample quality non-alcoholic options, along with nice foods - probably not on the same par as Cafe Hanoi, but far much better quality (and healthier) than your usual pub food - we were so satisfied. With cocktails around $18 mark and foods around $10 mark, reasonably priced, too. Wonderful service and atmosphere - the high ceiling historical building and simple design work so well. Would definitely go back and recommend.

I was always a big fan of Smith Bar so decided to try out the rebranded Xuxu and was thoroughly impressed. Perfect place for a drink after work before dinner. Great Pilsner on tap and well priced, extremely tasty appetisers. I had the shrimp and dill for $9 and it was delicious. Would definitely return. Also try the Cassava chips for a cheap snack :)

Excellent cocktail menu. Plus they have board games if the company your with is a bit dull.

This bar is just wicked. It's small, but very cosy with lady-like chaise lounge seating and feels very old skool European/British in a trendy sort of way. Great decor, fun atmosphere and best of all not loud and shouty like some nearby bars. Brilliant for wine or bubbly and a quiet natter with your nearest and dearest friends. 10 of 10

I always feel like James Bond at Smith, the list of cocktails is great and barstaff know their stuff. The cinnamon sidecar and grapefruit caiprioska are both ace.
