Coco's Cantina
Bars, Brasseries & BistrosCantinas are found the world over, originally from Italy.
They are now casual eating and drinking establishments found anywhere from Rome to Havana and now Karangahape Rd Auckland.
Our food is rustic Italian with influences from the Mediterranean, but we also do one of the best steaks in town.
The menu changes with the seasons but we run nightly specials to keep our regulars happy.
Sangria in the summer and mulled wine in the winter, great cocktails and a well stocked bar means Coco's is great for an afternoon drink.
The wine list has a good balance of international and local wines that are interesting and affordable (sorry no BYO).
The atmosphere most nights is pretty bustling although the courtyard out the back and people watching on K.Rd can be more chilled out. Our service is slick, fun and no nonsense, we look forward to seeing you.
Please note: Coco's isn't for everyone, it's a busy cantina with a lively bar, you may have to squish up on to a small table, wait for longer than is ideal, change tables, even do a swap to the bar but this is all part of the experience of Coco's Cantina.

I finally made the trip to Coco's after hearing great reviews. Believe the hype! I had a spinach ravioli with lemon white wine sauce which was light and tasty, especially with a rocket side salad. My friend had a great quinoa salad with chicken which she managed to finish up despite the nice big serving of polenta chips we'd had as a started. Service was great - really attentive and friendly.

This place is so awesome that for a while I stopped recommending it because I couldn't get a table when I went! But now I just go earlier and tell everyone I know. The food is amazing, especially considering how small the kitchen is. The service is fabulous, fun, friendly and they make you feel like great friends popping round for dinner. I have never had a bad meal here and they change out the menu on a regular basis so as to keep my taste buds humming in excitement. The bar staff know their stuff and it is always a difficult decision as to whether to go wine, cocktail or sangira, even there mocktails are fabulous. I wouldn't recommend taking a large group, less than 6 is best. I love to go with close friends to catch up either at the bar for a drink or over dinner. Great casual and bustling atmosphere

Entrees were amazing, I'm a vegetarian and happily shared a salad and antipasto with two other meat eaters. Main course was yummy but nothing to write home about. Great drinks list and the dessert menu is amazing, I couldn't choose. Also the staff are really attentive and friendly without being overbearing. I'll definitely be back.
