Memphis Belle Coffee House is a fantastic little coffee house with ridiculously good baristas.
A major focus on perfect coffee, corporate responsibility and sustainability means that every week interesting events are held in the warm art deco shop. Cupping sessions (professional tastings) are held every Wednesday, and many fundraising events are held on Fridays to raise awareness to the coffee market and farmers.
All baristas at Memphis Belle Coffee House compete in the World Barista Championships and are complete coffee nuts.

Best coffee in the city! Great atmosphere and friendly customer service just top it off. Would recommend anyone to Memphis Belle Coffee House!

I'm Matt, an owner of Memphis and Flight Coffee, and would like to give you an update on an amazing few months of competitions that's left us incredibly pleased! We just won Gold at the New Zealand Coffee Awards (Flight Coffee, same guys, Memphis is the showroom cafe in Wellington) with the blend of coffee served at Memphis winning the category "Best Ethically Traded Coffee in NZ"! Last month we won Capital Awards "Best Cafe 2011 ...and in the Capital Times Best Of Wellington 2011 awards: Best cafe: Memphis Belle Coffee House 1st place Best barista: Nick Clark 1st place (Flight/Memphis owner) ....AND Nick Clark also won the Wellington leg of the World Barista Championship 2011 - so he's the best via vote and by technical judges.
