I'm sorry to say that the food at this resaturant was extremley poor to say they charge mid-high prices. I had seafood chowder to start which i must say consisted of 1 shrimp, and a couple of scraps of fish floating around in it, very different to the seafood chowder i would normally recieve, my husband had scallops which were actually ok. Our mains came out i had ordered pallea, the mussels were not washed propally still had the beard on them and bassically i had boiled rice in front of me with mixed veg thrown in, my hubands had fish on a bed of risotto which was sat swimming in Olive oil, i think the girl knew as she came over and asked if everything was ok with the meals, we could'nt eat it and had to complain. The girl was really nice about it and didn't make us pay for our main meal but i have to say we would never eat there again.

Unfortunately, the star and a half, go entirely to the look of the venue. The room temperature pasta I was served, was drowned in canned tomato pasta sauce, and was lightly sprinkled with pieces of seafood. I must admit, the beard was gone from the mussels ( huge pet hate of mine ) and seafood was cooked well, and not chewy. While dining with my husband however, we had to endure, staff talking to each other, from opposing ends of the restaurant. On a multitude of conversation topics. Not really the dining entertainment I was hoping for. Fingers crossed it was new staff.

The best pizza in Picton, great atmosphere, very friendly,knowledgeable staff, but mind the seagulls in the outdoor seating area, this is Picton and you are by the beach and a spectacular view. Though indoor tables should be cleaned more often. Ideal family restaurant.
