Bistro 222 is fantastic! Have been here several times now and the food has always been amazing, always so tender. The seafood is incredible, steak is always cooked to perfection. The ambience is just right - music is the right level for talking. But the best is the service. The staff are always so friendly. My favorite restaurant by far!

Went along to this place after another popular Italian restaurant was full and too noisy for polite conversation on a thursday night. Very nice European ambience, fantastic caring service and beautiful authentic Italian food (available in small and large sizes which is handy. A great impression was left with me and I'll be back again for sure. Thanks!

Had lunch here on a visit to Auckland, great deal $25 lunch including entree, main and a glass of wine, beer or juice. Onion soup was ridiculously good. Fettuccine was a little plain but all in all a really nice place to eat.
