Great food, great restaurant! Would definately recommend this place to anyone and will absolutely be back to try other dishes on the menu. The owner came to our table a couple of times and we had a good laugh with him. Food was really excellent.

I am the kind of person who goes into every place with an open mind and an empty stomach. I'm a huge fan of Italian food although the places I tried here in New Zealand just did not do it for me. So when I looked at the menu and saw all the nice reviews of the pizza here I figured we would drop in for lunch. This place is wonderful. I got the Tortellini and my boyfriend got a calzone. WOW! The pasta was so good the chicken cooked perfectly and the sauce on this pasta was the most amazing thing I have had in a long time. The same sauce and chicken is also go over the pumpkin ravioli. The calzone was swimming in cheese and toppings and was just as delightful as everyone had made it sound. I have to say the pasta was amazing and is worth coming back to Takapuna just to have it again. ... That's the plan now. :D
