Mexico Britomart brings the distinctive taste of Mexico(TM)s back streets to the diners of Auckland.

Bright, bold and a lot of fun, Mexico Restaurant showcases the lighter, fresher side of Mexican cuisine. The menu is small but fairly representative of Mexican street food. It includes soft shell tacos, tortilla and delicious salads such as the green bean, potato, watercress and roast garlic chimichurri.

Mexico(TM)s drinks menu is also very authentic, featuring a range of top shelf tequilas, three kinds of sangria, a good number of cerveza including the popular Sol and Corona beers, margaritas and interesting cocktails.

Mexico adds to Britomart(TM)s party vibe and is an ideal venue for groups, great for hanging out and catching up with friends.

An important point to note is that they don(TM)t take bookings, walk-ins only, so it pays to arrive early.

    Finally we have real authentic mexican food in Auckland!! Fantastic fresh food, attentive service and a lovely menu. Have been in recently for lunch and an early dinner so haven't experienced any queues but very impressed both times and we will be back!!

    The place is busy so it's a good idea to go early. Very cosy and you often get to share a table with other groups but I think that's a part of experience. Like JonnyC says: Price is good but you can end up ordering heaps and together with the margaritas it's really easy to spend quite a bit.

    A fun, night out with great Mexican food. The two of us shared 4 plates of food plus we ordered churros - a divine experience. Go for the plum margarita!
