The Works cafe restaurant and bar is now open and under new management. The last remaining piece of the former Gisborne Freezing Works has been totally restored, earthquake strengthened, and upgraded to its original charm.
Open for breakfast , lunch and dinner as well as functions 7 days per week. Experience the iconic ambiance at the end of the Inner Harbour on the Esplanade, Gisborne. Directly at the foot of Kaiti Hill. Dining available inside, outside in the sun or under the vines. Watching the boats pass by.
