Golden Dawn is a centrally placed bar ideal for meeting up with your mates after work.
A great meeting place for a group or an ideal venue for that quiet get together. The friendly staff and great atmosphere will keep you coming back again and again.

We had an AWESOME evening at Golden Dawn last night. What a fantastic venue for a fashion show. We were presented with delicious nibbles and scrummy drinks - I definitely recommend trying out the Hallertau Cider. I would rate Golden dawn as one of Auckland's top bars!

A great find just off Richmond Road, this is one very cool bar. There's no branding displaying the bar's name, but once you find the secret door you'll discover why it's so cool. Very friendly staff, a great wine list, fantastic atmosphere and very yummy snacks. Huge outdoor court yard too with heaters and blankets. Seek it out and give it a try.

I'd heard through the grapevine that Golden dawn had finally opened so one Friday night we decided to check it out. First of all you have to know that this place exists otherwise you'd mistake it for a closed down shop with its blacked out windows. You need to enter down the side of the bar on Richmond Road. We had two different cocktails each, the first wasn't that memorable but the second definitely made a lasting impression (though again I can't remember its name!. It was blood red and served in a martini glass with the made ingredient being bitters and as you'd expect it was really bitter but lovely. Don't take my word - try Golden Dawn out for yourself!
