    Rob a bank before you dine here,grossly over priced food and drinks.Great menu,tiny expensive portions that taste ok.$19 for a glass of Central Otago pinot...you're dreaming mate.Won't be back.

    Three trips to The FoodStore and I haven't been disappointed. I think my favorite is the fish and chips but all the choices are great! Great place to watch the rugby game as well. Thanks for a great NZ made restaurant!

    I had been anticipating dining at the Foodstore for some time, and I have to say I was not disappointed. Everything was of a very high standard from the premises to the food, thelocation and views and last but not least the service. This is the type of establishment that does Auckland proud. Well done, it makes me proud to be an Aucklander

    just abit pricey for the portions sizes, but the sides well made up for it,one of the best places ive been too and well worth the wait,every dish was delicious and will be back in the near future.

    We had an excellent meal. Could not fault the meal or the service. well done! the only issue, we are out of town and found it hard to find the restaurant even though we new it was on the viaduct.

    At The Foodstore you will find a well-thought out menu and exceptional desserts which will have you wanting more. However for our family the experience was ruined by our waitress, who was less than attentive, and abrupt almost to the point of rudeness. This ruined an otherwise great meal, and was the sort of service you would not equate with the high prices on the menu. The food was excellent, if somewhat overpriced and it was definitely an experience watching the kitchen in action.

    The food was excellent but sadly let down by inferior service. I had read previous reviews from other sites warning about this but was hoping that it was just sour grapes. Unfortunately waiting an hour-and-a-quarter for our mains and our apperetifs arriving after our starters was a real let down. If you want an extremely laid back meal ten consider here, but to be honest there is just as good if not better food available around town which includes service that makes you feel special and wanted rather than just a chore.

    Absolutely fabulous. The food was divine. Just the right sized portions which left you feeling satisfied but not too full. The service was exceptional, attentive but not in your face constantly and very helpful with any queries or requests. Definitely, we will be back very soon.Highly recommended.
