    We went to the Lakehouse restaurant for the second time last weekend for a drink and some lunch. The owner was verbally abusive toward my 23 year old daughter after she asked him innocently enough if 'he had considered putting a Hawkes Bay Shiraz on his winelist?'. The fellow ranted and raved for what seemed like an eternity and we left pretty quickly. We will never go back! It's not the first time this sort of behaviour has been served up at this otherwise lovely restaurant. Others have complained about it (locals) but I never believed it until we witnessed it for ourselves. Very poor display of hospitality in our lovely Lake Hood area.
