1. Tahuna Reef Restaurant

   Made reservations and was promised upstairs dining to find we were set up by kitchen door downstairs. Waitress quickly remedied situation and moved us up stairs-we were the only diners up there which was nice. Waitresses were more than friendly and did a fine job in serving us. Food (6 different servings) was poor. Steaks were burnt tasting, seafood fettuccine was drab with no flavor-plenty of seafood but hardly any noodles and soupy sauce; expensive steak with no veggies. New cook is in order to make this place pop! Lovely building and clean which was a plus. Waitress was gracious to let us bring in our birthday cake and she served it with our candles lit, & included fresh plates and silverware. We were thanked as I paid the $306 bill for 6 adults and a well-behaved 4 yr old. That rationed out to $50 a head approx....way too expensive for what we were served.

2. Tahuna Reef Restaurant

   starter of breads and dips, when it arrived at our table was disappointed as the bread was neither toasted nor was it fresh. The Waitress that served us was very warm and pleasant to deal with, gave me and my partner an opportunity to look at the menu fully and did not harass us. The mains ordered were Pork belly and venison, Both were presented nicely, and the meals were quite enjoyable. All in all the overall evening was pleasant and the atmoshpere was very relaxing.
