    This restaurant is proving to be one of the best Chinese restaurants we have come to know in Auckland. The owners really make an effort and there is a pleasant ambiance ; the staff are very polite, attentive and friendly and; most importantly we consider the food to be on a par with a very good restaurant in Hong Kong. We have lived the expat life in HK and visited there again recently so we are happy to put our taste-buds on the line here. Another Yum Cha lunch yesterday confirmed our very positive viewpoint and we figure the only downside to complimenting the restaurant is that it might become too busy in future!

    Yum cha is our families favorite meal. Have dined regularly each year at crystal harbour. Ate there again on friday and was a little disappointed. The service, as always, was excellent, we were taken to seats straight away and the food started coming out immediately. My favorites have always been the dim sums, particularly the vegetable and prawn ones. This time though, they were more vegetable than prawn and were therefore very wet falling to pieces when you took your first bite. The cost, the attentiveness of staff and the lack of waiting keeps crystal harbour above grand harbour but i think we might be trying grand harbour next month.

    The best yam cha place discovered in Auckland CBD so far. Decently priced and never disappoint. My favourite, never missed are the siew mai (fresh and real juicy), the fried squid without being too oil and the egg tart (crispy skin, real flavourful and authentic). What I love about this place is the food quality is almost as good as the ones in Hong Kong.

    I love Yum cha! When my Mother was pregnant with her youngest ( who is 3 ) we came to this restaurant every weekend . The food is amazing , the staff are soooo friendly ! The staff even taught me how to use chop sticks! Thanks for having such an amazing service :D

    Food was excellent, it is no surprise of why there are 2 Crystal Harbour Restaurant in Hong Kong. Food was fresh and authentic, some dim sum here for yumcha and dinner you cannot find any where else in Auckland. Has regular special to make you keep coming back. ( Their lastest is the Peking duck Special YUM!!) PS. To note: Their Service is outstanding, friendly young attentive staffs.

    If you have been to grand harbour just around the corner at viaduct, then crystal harbour wouldn't be too far fetch. In fact, some of the staff was previously grand harbours. Dim Sum menu starts at 11am through to around 3pm (but best if you come mid day). Taste awesome, i would rank it on the same par as grand harbour. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity. Seats are much easier to get, no more long wait calling numbers that you will experience at grand harbour. Also, you can use your entertainment card 2010/2011 to get 25% off.
