Although the cafe is in an apartment building it is very cool, I imagine summer it will be amazing. The service is without par in Tauranga - phenomonal. It was a real treat. The menu was very enticing, the wine list also better than most in Tauranga (and Reidel glasses!). There was no bread offered, as NZ seems to miss. Entree was seafood spoons - almost bouillabase, and had great flavour but texturely the octopus didn't quite fit. I had eye fillet in a pepper and coffee crust - brilliant. The gratin was good. The sweet potato too sweet (orange) and missed some horseradish or mustard. The wife had salmon and she felt it was perfectly cooked, but the bean puree missed, but baked ricotta tremendous. Dessert was theiur version of pistachio baklova (never would I have though I would order baklova) cigars, vanilla gelato. Truely superb. I think this has potential to be the best restaurant in Tauranga.
