Arbitrageur Wine Room & Restaurant is located in the heart of Wellington's CBD area. Set in an elegant 1950's building, with a breath-taking five metre high stud ceiling, you can enjoy drinking wine in a laid back environment.
Arbitrageur boasts a menu showcasing classic and contemporary European fare; from freshly cut charcuterie, local and world cheeses, delicatessa menu and bistro style dishes, certainly a match for every wine!
The food and wine are colour coded for flavour, aroma and texture to encourage you to have fun matching at your own pace. Over six hundered local and international wines are on offer by the bottle, as well as sixty by the taste, glass and pichet. We also offer Arbitrageur Wine Flights and regular wine tastings of vintage cellar wines to allow you to experience wines not usually available by the glass.
Arbitrageur is also a unique space to hold an event, catering for stylised events at the weekends such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate dinners, launches and pre-sporting event lunches. Our staff are professional, friendly and well versed on wine & food.
The room is able to seat eighty people for a sit down meal and can hold up to one hundered people standing for a cocktail evening. The room is equally suitable to cater for smaller groups of around forty people.
We offer a free professional service to tailor your event. We can offer consultation with menus, food and wine matching, recommend florists, entertainment and audio visual specialists.

The atmosphere is quite chilled at Arbitrageur, great if you're catching up with friends over a few vinos. The tapas menu is devine, especially recommend the smoked salmon bruschetta.
