What a lovely place to visit, sitting right on the waterfront, it's decor yet simple is black with cane furniture keeping inline with it's beachy setting. The food was a taste explosion from the blue vein cheese tortellini with blue cheese icecream to the tastings sent out by the chef on the day. The food was tasty and so unusual and plated in a visually pleasing way. If there was any disappointment it was he fact that the creme brulee is no longer on their dessert menu but the petite fours did suffice. All the main dishes sounded excellent I had the lamb and it wasnt just lamb one way but several different ways with an amazing white bean puree that complimented the lamb in a spectacular way. Overall although a bit on the expensive side for Paihia it is worth every cent.
