Dined here early on a Saturday night and although the place was busy the service was friendly, courteous and attentive. Two of our party ordered the fish and chips and they thoroughly enjoyed it. A great place for a casual relaxed meal with friends or family.

This bar is unpretentious in service. The restaurant is busy cosy and serviced well. The food is amazing. I was surprised by the food and selection since it is not food one finds in a brewery establishment. The menu is priced reasonably. The wine list is expansive and is let down by the staff's lack of knowledge of the wines. I suspect there was limited thought given to the marriage of wine with food. However this should not detract, and if you are familiar with the wine then you can make your own informed choice. Having said that there is an emphasis on brewery ales and staff knowledge is formidable. I give this establishment a 3 star based on its exceptional food, good service and stylish but comfortable setting. Its only negative is that it is colored by its brewery connections which makes this establishment appear as a pub bar rather than a restaurant with bar facilities.
