Have long been a fan of breakfast at Cup. Tried the dinner menu last night - a simple selection with enough for everyone. The view is even better at night with the lights across the city sparkling bright on a raining night. Mains we're $26-$29, which feels priced about right for what you get. Tasty and plenty, but not spectacular. Was quiet, but fair enough as we we're expecting snow on that night we visited. Was made up for with good service.

I took my 7 year old Goddaughter up to the Cup for breakfast today. it is under New managment and the place was buzzing. They treated my little 7 year old buddy like a princess and the food was quick, yummy and fairly priced. I will definately be coming back.

The view from this cafe is amazing. It is a great place to spend a weekend morning with a panaramic view of Canterbury. The atmosphere is bustling but the staff are fast and friendly. The quality of food and drinks is good and there are menu items for kids - they love the lolly jar on the counter.
