    We stopped here on our way through 5pm on a Saturday evening. We ordered a slice of pizza and coffees. Food was great, pizza was nice and the coffee was good. Service however was shocking and we will not return. The staff did not appear to want to be there at all, they kept ducking out of the store to socialise or do errands (arguably none of my business but was disruptive) We didn't receive our coffee at all, had to follow this up. The lady we ordered off had left the shop so we asked her colleague. No apology whatsoever. Coffee was provided on our table without eye contact or any communication, again - another opportunity to apologise for the lapse. There were tables around us that had empty food plates on them for our whole stay - no one bothered to clear them. We felt like we were intruding to the point where we checked the door to see what time they closed in case we were overstaying. We were not. No checking in on our food ok, maybe not necessary - it is a cafe) but no goodbye or thanks on the way out either - we were ignored. Only customers the whole time - they were not busy. Basically, nice food but we were not made to feel welcome or extended any common courtesy. When you are paying Auckland prices for coffee I expect a smile with my service.
