Soi Café at Greta Point is one of our all time favourite breakfast / brunch places. Located on the sea, with floor to ceiling glass windows it’s the perfect Summer’s morning café but also, it’s equally as nice sitting in their cosy surroundings when the Winter winds take hold. They have an extensive breakfast menu and even offer a more secluded dining area just off the main room for families with younger children (which minimises the kiddy noise for others who aren’t in the family way!). 

If you’re taking the whole family out for breakfast then The Chocolate Frog Café in Palmers Garden Centre will be the perfect spot for you. Nearly all of their food (including the bread!) is baked on site and their coffee is to die for. They have a playground located just outside which is perfect for keeping the little ones occupied and, what’s more, they offer a text order service so you don’t have to worry about leaving the kids unattended or tearing them away from the playground to get some food! 

Got a celebration on the cards? Then Café Villa in Wellington City has just the breakfast for you! Add a little bubble to your day and order their champagne breakfast for your special occasion. The service is great, the food even better and their cakes… well lets just say don’t fill yourself up too much with their generous breakfast helpings, leave a little room for something sweet – it’s worth it!
