The good people from menus.co.nz have given me the enjoyable task of researching restaurants and bars in your area, so that you don’t have to before going out to eat or drink.
What’s my favourite restaurant? Well, I love Indian food, and butter chicken is, without a doubt, my favourite dish. For my regular fix, I often dine at Raviz on Hobson Street, Auckland City.
And my favourite bar? Surprisingly, it can be thirsty work being a writer; so for a cold beer after five, I go to O’Hagan’s Irish Bar in Highland Park, East Auckland. They have a great pub meal called O’Hagan’s 3 Irish Pigs Massive 1kg Meal. It includes pork loin, sausage stuffing, streaky bacon, coleslaw and apple sauce, all for $28.
