Named after the iconic summit on Auckland Domain, this contemporary New Zealand Restaurant is loved by many. Initially a small Bar and Grill affair, One Tree Grill has grown into one of Auckland’s prominent culinary spots and it’s no wonder why.
Unlike most of Auckland’s finest, One Tree Grill is situated away from the general buzz of the city and has it’s own thriving energy on Epsom’s Pah Road.
Renowned for their well matched wine list, it would be a crime not to take their exceptional advice and relish in the flavours a well chosen beverage will no doubt bring out in your meal. Talking of which, the One Tree Grill menu is simply delightful. There’s something scrumptious for everyone, and although seemingly a little pricey you’ll soon agree that the cost for the evening’s enjoyment is very reasonable and well worth it.
Their Caesar Salad entrée is a step above your everyday Caesar, you can try and imagine what orange paprika chicken adds to this classic dish but you’ll have to taste it yourself to appreciate it’s magic. Another good thing about the One Tree Grill menu is that a fair proportion of items are gluten free. A firm favourite with diners is the Hawkes Bay lamb rack. It's gluten free and the cinnamon jus adds a wonderfully exotic flavour. If like me you’re a dessert fiend, the Chocolate Moose is the perfect treat, or the One Tree Grill dessert tasting platter is great if you can’t make up your mind between the sugary gems on the menu (you might need some helping hands to finish it off though!).
One Tree Grill is perfect for special occasions; be it birthdays, graduations, anniversaries or romantic evenings – we recommend booking head, especially if there are more than a couple of you.
